HERBERT J. SWEREN: President/CEO and Co-Founder

It was Herb’s vision that local and state candidates and incumbents should have available the same degree of professionalism, knowledge and technology found at the national level. And, at a cost that is affordable to anyone serious about making a difference through politics.

As a successful corporate executive and entrepreneur, Herb has over 27 years of senior management, sales, marketing and finance experience. In addition to his business career, Herb has been senior political advisor to multiple campaigns from local House of Delegates, State Senator, County Council and Congressional races.

In his role as President and CEO, Herb will oversee the day-to-day operations of CampaignON and combine the synergy of his vast business experience with his expertise in managing and advising candidates and incumbents on how to “get elected” and “stay elected.”

BARRY SILVERMAN: Vice President and Co-Founder

As Vice President, Barry will have lead responsibility for the Media Strategies division of CampaignON. Barry is an award-winning copywriter/strategist who has worked for a number of ad agencies and clients in the Baltimore Washington area for over 30 years. The bulk of his career was spent at Trahan, Burden & Charles Advertising, where he created advertising in all media for hundreds of regional and national accounts including numerous successful political campaigns for county council, county executive, mayor and governor.

Barry has also worked in government as a communications/marketing specialist and has written marketing materials for a number of advocacy groups and social issue campaigns. Barry has won numerous awards including Addys, Andys and a CLIO for Best Copywriting.

Barry is the media expert candidates and incumbents have always turned to when trying to reach maximum visibility for their campaigns and staying in touch and informing their constituents.

Dennis

DENNIS F. RASMUSSEN: Partner/Senior Advisor

Mr. Rasmussen served for two terms as a Maryland State Senator and one term as Baltimore County Executive. He has more than 30 years of experience, both in elected and appointed offices of state and local government, as well as private-sector experience in the fields of lobbying, association management, banking and marketing services.

Mr. Rasmussen is President of The Rasmussen Group, LLC, which represents the interests of major and regional corporations, professional trade associations and business groups and provides a comprehensive scope of services at all legislative and executive branches of government at the Federal, State, and Maryland Local and Municipal levels.

Eugene

EUGENE (GENE) F. SWANZEY: Partner/Senior Advisor

Gene Swanzey enjoys a distinguished and successful career in the fields of global and domestic investment banking, public policy and government relations. In addition to his role at CampaignON, Gene is also a Partner and Principal in the Rasmussen Swanzey Strategic Partners, a public policy and government relations financial consulting firm.

Gene spent the majority of his career with the Chase Manhattan Banking Corporation, where he worked closely with CEO and Chairman, David Rockefeller. At Chase Manhattan, Gene was involved daily with the chairman’s very public role as leader of global finance and participated in raising the billions needed to restore Lower Manhattan after 9/11. Prior to joining Chase, he was privileged to serve as a senior aide to Governor and later Vice President of the United States, Nelson A. Rockefeller.

For CampaignON clients, Gene Swanzey offers an endless resource of expertise and insight into the intricacies of fundraising, campaign strategy and the creation of effective public policy.

Robert

ROBERT M. INFUSSI, SR: Senior Political Advisor

In the world of local politics, Bob Infussi is known as a “lifer.” After more than 40 years of “working the precincts,” Bob owns a well-earned reputation for managing winning campaigns, securing crucial campaign funds and mapping decisive strategy for candidates and incumbents, on both sides of the political aisle.

His proven management skills and political instincts at the grass-roots level have played a pivotal role in a long list of successful delegate, state senate, county council, county executive, gubernatorial and congressional races.

He served as Chief of Staff to two county executives and worked on the staff of a third as Deputy Director of Economic Development.

In the mid-1990s, Bob coordinated constituent services as District Director for Congressman Robert L. Ehrlich in Maryland's 2nd Congressional District. He later served as political adviser to Congressman Ehrlich in his run for governor which resulted in Mr. Ehrlich being elected the first Republican governor in Maryland in 34 years.

Bob Infussi's lifetime of political experience adds a dynamic dimension to the list of exclusive campaignOn services and will go a long way to helping our candidates get elected and stay elected.

Susan

SUSAN FERRARACCI: Client Liaison

As CampaignOn Client Liaison, Susan works closely with our candidates and staff members to keep the lines of communication open and ensure that problems are solved, questions are answered, materials delivered and that everyone stays on task. Susan has spent her entire career working in local politics and government. She has served on numerous campaign committees and has earned her stripes on the grass roots level doing fund raising and lending her organizational talent to the rigors of day-to-day campaigning. As CampaignOn Client Liaison, Susan’s experience and keen understanding of running a political campaign is one more asset that CampaignON clients can count on.

Victoria

VICTORIA FARRELL: Communications and Research Intern

Victoria Farrell is a senior undergraduate student at Towson University. She is a double major in Political Science and Mass Communications (with a concentration in public relations and advertising). She will be graduating in spring of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science. Victoria has strong interest in public policy, government relations, and campaign management.

Victoria is Vice President of Promotions for the Towson University Public Relations Group, the student chapter of PRSSA. Through the PR Group, Victoria has gained experience in professional event planning and strategic integrated marketing communications. In early 2011 she served as a student lobbyist in Annapolis on behalf of Towson University at the annual "Tiger Pride" day.

She has demonstrated her passion for politics and public policy as the Public Relations and Development intern with The Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® where she coordinated with local public officeholders for the Light Maryland Pink Project. She also worked as a Marketing Intern for Calvert Education Services where she helped coordinate marketing materials and communicated with school board officials throughout the country.

With a strong base of political science knowledge and marketing experience, Victoria will contribute to the day-to-day operations and strategic marketing efforts as Communications and Research Intern at CampaignON.
